I found the Dominator’s blog yesterday. He has figured out how to alter the Power Tab and use it to make ukulele songs. I got “Super Mario Brothers” but it was in a different tuning than GCEA. I have to give this guy a hand, he making a web site that all of us ukulele players have needed!

I found a PDF booklet online that has some easy ukulele songs called Fleabag Music. If you don’t know your chords it has a diagram of each one so you can play all the songs. The PDF has 10 songs they are:
Aloha Oe
Hello Ma Baby
Home On The Range
Ida Sweet As Apple Cider
I’ve Been Working On the Railroad
In the Good Old Summertime
Red River Valley
Shine On Harvest Moon
Wait til the Sun Shines, Nellie
Won’t You Come Home, Bill Bailey

I have found what the music world has needed – an easy way to write out TAB! I stumbled upon this last time I was on gootar. It worked almost perfect. When you click on the tabber button gootar opens this neat little program that uses a mock fret board with “fret buttons”. Click a “fret button” and it apears in a little box as TAB.

I was picking out a song earlier and decided that I wanted to write it out in staff rather than TAB. I went online and found Blanksheetmusic.net. Wow first try!
You can customize a page of sheet music, and then print it. So if you need blank sheet music, check it out.
